Here are 3 tips for you to fire up your creativity, develop effective strategies, and grow your impact by appealing to your audience's logic, emotion, and desire to connect. The recipe for leadership success starts with a creative spark!
1. Logical appeal
Create your strategy. Then clearly articulate your vision by presenting your reasoning for the best choice of action based on organizational benefits, personal benefits, or both.
Start by asking yourself: What are the rational and intellectual positions of the people you want to lead?
Action Item: Brainstorm by writing down all the rational and intellectual positions of the people you want to lead.
2. Emotional appeal
By connecting your message, goal, or project to the individual goals and values of those you want to lead you, you appeal emotionally to them. In fact, build your idea to promote a person’s feelings of well-being, service, or sense of belonging. You will have a good chance of gaining support of the people you want to lead.
Start by asking yourself: What are the individual goals and values of the people you want to lead?

Start by asking yourself: Am I ready to be open and listen to suggestions, criticism, and collaboration?
Action Item: Invite others to share their opinions and ideas openly. Express genuine interest in them and show how much you care about their ideas.
